With Captain Chris being a retired lobster fisherman, he is well versed with the winter weather on the Bay of Fundy (not quite the warm sunny weather we fish during the summer.) Though we spend every day on the water during the summer, we can’t stay away from the water.

We were able to head out and around the Bay of Fundy yesterday in search of some winter wildlife and were pretty happy with what we came up with!

Lots of sea birds and four large, beautiful Bald Eagles. These eagles are found here in our area year round and make the Bay of Fundy their home with the large number of fish available to them and other wildlife. These large raptors can be found perched high up in the trees close to shore watching for fish and other prey items.

Our return trip to St. Andrews allowed us to capture a stunning sunset while in little l’etete passage.

We’re counting down the days until the 2015 Shark Fishing/tagging season starts along with our Sport Fishing trips. With all the new updates we have, we are super excited to share all the details with you but until then you will just have to settle with our photographs of St. Andrews, the Bay of Fundy and the wildlife that inhabits our area this time of year.

Until next time! Keep your lines tight!

Cheers,

Nicole 🙂
